Today I had a therapeutic message. Forty-five minutes of mashing and pushing on my muscles. It hurt. However, now I feel better than I have in months. She recommend a visit to a chiropractor, and that will occur tomorrow at 3 pm.
Will I be able to play golf pain free in Scotland? I dare not answer that question in the affirmative. However I can hope. I have another visit with her on Wednesday of next week. Keep your fingers crossed.
Glad to year that the body is on the up-and-up DLux of ME. I'm not nearly as worried about my body holding up as I am about my nerves doing so. If I get weak in the knees just thinking about teeing off on the first hole of the Old Course, what's going to happen in a couple of weeks when I actually am?

You're going to take a deep breath and keep your eye on the ball. Also you're not going to try and kill it. Just get it in play. The Burn, aka the first hole at the Old Course at St Andrews, is only 355 yards long. The fairway will be firm and the ball will roll like crazy. All you need to do is bump it towards the green. But if nerves get to you, don't worry, you won't be the first.
